The electrolytic aluminum multi-function crane is key process equipment in large-scale prebaked anode aluminum electrolysis production, designed to operate in harsh environments characterized by high temperatures, high currents, strong magnetic fields, heavy dust, and HF gas.
The crane consists of the bridge traveling mechanism, main girders, tool trolley, aluminum tapping trolley, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and electrical control system. Its core component is the tool trolley, which comprises the trolley traveling mechanism, trolley frame, tool slewing mechanism, crust breaker, anode replacement mechanism, slag skimming mechanism, feeding mechanism, and operator's cab slewing mechanism. The entire crane adopts variable frequency control combined with PLC. Operation is carried out either from the operator's cab or via remote control, with the two operation modes capable of working in coordination or functioning independently.
Zehua's newly developed three girder electrolytic aluminum multi-function crane is designed to complement the industry-leading 600kA large-scale aluminum reduction cells. It is equipped with advanced features including a dual-anode mechanism (individual/linked operation), independently rotating slag skimming mechanism, grab with leveling function, precise aluminum tapping system, automatic anode height measurement system, intelligent operation and maintenance system, and light grid isolation system, enabling intelligent control and efficient operation.
Offering remarkable comprehensive advantages—including advanced technology, stable performance, high efficiency, easy operation, simple maintenance, and environmental compliance—this crane serves as core equipment for improving automation and overall profitability in electrolytic aluminum production.
This crane series has been widely used in the electrolytic aluminum industry and has received high praise from customers.

Product Characteristic
This electrolytic aluminum multi-function crane is capable of performing the following process operations for prebaked anode aluminum reduction cells:
(1) Crust Breaking Breaking the crust of the electrolyte to add alumina and fluoride salts (electrolyte) into the cell.
(2) Feeding Adding alumina and fluoride salts (electrolyte) into the cell.
(3) Anode Replacement Loosening, lifting, and tightening screw clamps; removing spent anodes; and replacing them with new anodes. (4) Slag Skimming Skimming slag and debris from the electrolyte surface. (5) Aluminum Tapping Vacuum extraction, tapping, transporting, and weighing (single batch and cumulative total) of molten aluminum, with display and printing functions. (6) Anode Busbar Raising Lifting the anode busbar raising frame. (7) Maintenance Assembling and disassembling the upper structure and lower shell of the reduction cell during installation and maintenance, as well as performing other miscellaneous lifting tasks.
Q: Do you support customizing cranes according to my specific needs?
A: Absolutely. We offer full customization based on your workshop dimensions (span, lifting height), power supply specifications, duty cycle (FEM/ISO class), and special environmental requirements (explosion-proof, corrosion-resistant, high-temperature). Please provide your detailed operational requirements for a tailored design and quotation.
Q: Does the equipment comply with international safety and quality standards? What certifications do you have?
A: Yes. Our core design and manufacturing follow international standards such as ISO, FEM, DIN. We can apply for and provide CE certification (covering Machinery Directive MD and Low Voltage Directive LVD) for target markets, along with a full Declaration of Conformity and technical documentation.
Q: Does the price include installation, commissioning, and operator training?
A: Our standard quotation is typically EXW or FOB. However, we offer comprehensive value-added service packages, including remote installation guidance, optional on-site engineer commissioning services, and detailed installation manuals with operational training videos. Specific service terms are negotiable before order confirmation.
Q: How do you guarantee product quality? Do you have testing and factory inspection procedures?
A: We implement a strict quality control system. Every crane undergoes mandatory key process inspections, no-load and load tests(including rated load and overload tests), and complete operational debugging before leaving the factory. We welcome and support pre-shipment inspections by the buyer or third-party agencies (e.g., SGS).
Q: Can we visit your factory or see case studies of similar projects?
A: You are most welcome! We are delighted to arrange a visit to our manufacturing base to witness our production capability and quality control firsthand. We can also provide video case studies and references (under NDA) from our global clients with similar applications.
