The entire manufacturing process is designed to meet international standards, with each stage carefully controlled to ensure exceptional quality, efficiency, and traceability.

1. Raw Material Inspection and Preparation

Every batch of steel plates and structural components undergoes rigorous incoming inspection, including chemical composition analysis and mechanical property testing. Only materials that meet strict quality criteria enter the production line. Steel coils are processed through a high-performance leveling machine equipped with 15 forged 60CrMo steel rollers (180mm diameter, 260kW power), ensuring perfectly flat plates for subsequent cutting and welding.

2. Laser Cutting and Blanking

Zehua's blanking workshop features advanced laser cutting technology as its core. A 31.5-meter large-scale laser plate cutting machine, sourced from a top global brand, performs one-time cutting of entire main girder side boards. This eliminates the need for multiple welding seams, significantly improving structural strength and aesthetic appearance. The machine can cut steel plates up to 40mm thick and handle complex groove cutting, chamfering, and intricate geometric shapes. For profile steel processing, an automatic loading laser cutting system ensures high efficiency and micron-level precision, reducing material waste and shortening production lead times.

3. Robotic Welding and Assembly

Zehua has deployed multiple intelligent welding robots across its assembly lines. These robotic systems ensure consistent, repeatable, and high-strength welds on crane girders, end carriages, and structural components. Each weld is monitored in real time, and parameters such as current, voltage, and travel speed are automatically adjusted to maintain optimal penetration and bead appearance. After welding, all critical joints undergo non-destructive testing (NDT), including ultrasonic and magnetic particle inspection, to verify zero internal defects.

4. Shot Blasting and Surface Preparation

To eliminate internal stresses induced by welding and cutting, every crane beam box passes through a large shot blasting machine with a chamber opening of 2500mm (width) × 3200mm (height) and a cleaning length of 33,000mm. Powered by 265kW and equipped with 16 high-velocity shot blasters, this machine uniformly impacts the entire surface of the workpiece, removing mill scale, rust, and welding spatter while creating a textured profile that maximizes paint adhesion. The shot blasting process is essential for extending crane service life, especially in corrosive environments such as ports, shipyards, and chemical plants.
